Rebecca Serella (BA (Hons) Psychology & MSc Counselling Psychology) is an Associate Psychologist and BACP registered Psychological Therapist who has experience working with children and adults presenting with a diverse range of issues.
Rebecca works with looked after adolescents presenting with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, bereavement, self-harm and substance mis-use. Rebecca is an integrative therapist who uses her training in CBT, person-centred therapy and EMDR to fit her clients needs.
Rebecca is trained in sexual health awareness and works with young people at risk of sexual exploitation. Rebecca is also trained in Life Minus Violence Enhanced (LMV-E) © (Ireland et al, 2009) which is a cognitive behavioural therapeutic package designed to reduce risk of aggression amongst forensic populations.
Rebecca also works with young children within school settings and has training as a play-therapist. Rebecca was previously involved in ESRC research at Keele University investigating the causes and effects of bullying in adolescents.
