Tom Nally (MSc Forensic Psychology, BSc Psychology) is a Forensic Psychologist in Training.
At CCATS, Tom provides therapy for clients around general aggression and harmful sexual behaviour. He is trained in the HCR-20, SAPROF, J-SOAP II risk assessment tools, and Life Minus Violence-Enhanced (LMV-E) therapy. Tom is undertaking a PhD at the University of Central Lancashire that focuses on building a model for victim safety strategies.
For nearly two years, Tom worked as a support worker in secure services with adolescents and adults with mental health needs and personality disorders. Tom also works in a high secure hospital as a Research Assistant, where he works on projects to improve patient care and outcomes.
