Online conference on working with victims of child exploitation

A one-day online conference on working with victims of child exploitation is taking place on Monday 30 June 2025, 9:00am to 4:15pm.

The ‘Together to Reduce Exploitation’ (TTRE) international consortium is pleased to present a conference on Current advancements and considerations when working with victims of child exploitation.

Talks will be delivered by individuals with lived experience, psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists, and researchers in the field of exploitation.

Speakers will present on a range of topics including lived experiences of survival, trauma-informed ways of working with victims of child exploitation, the importance of using structured professional judgement tools in exploitation cases, vulnerability to criminal exploitation, psychiatry perspectives on reducing exploitation, challenging the failure to keep exploited children safe, and understanding exploitation within the context of organised crime networks.

The afternoon will feature a meeting of the consortium.
