Jo Ward (BSc, MSc, CPsychol) is a Chartered and Registered Forensic Psychologist. She is a Member of the British Psychological Society and the Division of Forensic Psychology, and is a registered practitioner with the Health and Care Professions Council.
Jo’s role at CCATS involves undertaking psychological assessment and therapy with clients presenting with a range of difficulties, including attachment difficulties, mental health difficulties, aggression and harmful sexual behaviour. Jo works with both young people and adults. She provides psychological input to children’s residential services including direct work with young people, consultation and reflective practice with staff teams, and delivery of training.
Jo is trained in a number of risk and protective assessment tools (HCR-20, SAVRY, J-SOAP, SAPROF) and treatment programmes including Life Minus Violence – Enhanced and Life Minus Violence Harmful Sexual Behaviour Version.
Jo has previously worked in inpatient mental health settings and within fostering and adoption support services.
